Startup Community Roundtable | What can we learn from other cities?

Startup Community Roundtable | What can we learn from other cities?

Presented by Startup Texas / Startup America.

Thursday, September 20 @ Start Houston.  Click here to RSVP.

Houston is a great place for startups. But we can learn a lot from other cities that figured out how to unite their resources to provide a stronger, more sustainable startup community.

These “resources” can include workspaces (coworking, maker/hackerspaces), incubators/accelerators, unique tax reinvestment zones, access to capital, IP commercialization programs, mentors, events, conferences, corporate sponsorships and partnerships, hackathons, and more.

Come join us for a roundtable discussion where our panelists will discuss their recent, first-hand experience with startup communities across the country.Panelists include:Alicia DiRago (Chicago)
Ned Dodington (Houston)
Jeff Kaplan (Houston, DC)
Marc Nathan, Moderator (Houston, Austin)
Jeff Reichman (Houston, Philadelphia)
Grace Rodriguez (Houston, NYC)
Apurva Sanghavi(NYC)There will be beer.

Thanks to START Houston for volunteering to host!
