How to Outsource Online – Glenn Gutierrez (a Houston Lean Startup Circle recap)
The June Houston Lean Startup Circle meetup was a great success, drawing a crowd of about 40 entrepreneurs, eager to learn about how they might leverage outsourcing to help get their startups to the next level.
Our speaker (an co-organizer) Glenn Gutierrez gave a great overview on how to outsourcing design and development work online. He covered a few useful tools and platforms that people can use and provided tips on avoiding common pitfalls that outsourcing newbies often face.
The audience was quite engaged and the talk quickly became interactive as people started asking for more details and sharing their own experiences. But, no worries if you couldn’t make it! Glenn recorded the entire talk and will soon post it on Startup Table. And, if you’re impatient, I’ve included a lower-quality recording of the talk that I captured on my laptop from the front row. Unfortunately, I missed the first few minutes of the talk, but you should still find it useful.
